Traditional skating boots are constructed on a carrying support, made of an internal thick insole and a thick external sole, to which a blade or frame is mounted. Edea has improved this method and we have built an internal strong supporting structure, directly in contact to the foot with the following advantages:
BETTER SENSITIVITY and CONTROL: Less material layers between the ground and the feet enhance a better direct power transmission.
BETTER STABILITY: The reduced distance from the ground gives better stability, perception and lower displacement. The rounded design of the heel allows a homogeneous distribution of the weight and torsion stability.
NO TORSION: The supportive insole is made of strong manmade material and fibreglass. Therefore the structure is insulating, non deformable and it guarantees the best hold of the blade screws.
WATERPROOF SOLE: The sole is made of a compact material, resistant to humidity and temperature, it does not absorb moisture and the blade does not sink into the sole.
BOOT SHAPING: During the production the boot is anatomically shaped to avoid unnecessary empty spaces around the foot, for the best control.
